Alice Leah Godsey

Alice Leah Godsey, age 94,of Midvale, Utah and formerly of La Grande died in her sleep on June 29, 2004, at the home of her granddaughter, Meg Franklin.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 4:00 p.m. at the Cove Cemetery.

Alice was born on February 5, 1910, in Cove to Delo and Libby Gauthier. She and Chet Godsey were married July 13, 1928 in La Grande. They were longtime residents of Cove.

She is survived by daughters, Dorothy Case of Slat Lake City and Phyllis (Bill) Franklin of Sacramento; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and LaVaughn Gauthier of Florence; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and two sisters.
