Arlie Fisk, 77, of La Grande, died Nov. 16 at a Boise hospital. A graveside service was held Nov. 19 at Island City Cemetery.
Arlie was born Oct. 25, 1932, to Wylie Elmer and Elsie (Suggs) Fisk in De Witt, Texas. He was an officer for the California Highway Patrol. He was married to Melva Fisk for more than 50 years.
Arlie enjoyed family history, traveling, reading and was a deacon at Trinity Baptist Church in La Grande.
He is survived by his three children, Bruce Fisk of Hillsboro, Crystal Purdy of Susanville, Calif., and Cindy Fisk-Bingham of Mololla; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melva Fisk.
