Bob Funkhouser

Bob Funkhouser, 49, of Paradise, Calif., and formerly of Elgin, died unexpectedly June 10.

Bob was born Aug. 23, 1960.

Bob lived in Elgin from 1966 to 1978. Bob moved to Paradise, Calif. 14 years ago. He enjoyed racing cars and providing a race team for his son, Justin. He enjoyed NASCAR, football and his friends. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan.

Bob is survived by his children, Jason and his wife, Cari, Justin, Janae and Jennifer; brother, Mike and his wife, Teresa Funkhouser; one niece; a great-niece; parents, Bob and Ella Mae Funkhouser; and Bob's girlfriend and best friend of six years, Johnna Hunter.
