Brett Morgan Rokos

Brett Morgan Rokos was born on May 24, 1954 in Enterprise, the only son of Robert Alan and Phyllis Nadine (Daggett) Rokos.  He was raised and educated in Joseph, graduating with the Joseph High School class of 1972.  

Brett worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator in the farming industry and later in life he started his own mushrooming business in La Grande which he operated until his death.

Best described as a mountain man, Brett loved everything about the out of doors.  He was a bow hunter and trapper.  He enjoyed picking berries  and mushrooms.

Relatives who remain are his sisters Marjie Jo Schwegel of Osk, Washington, Robine Parks of Joseph, Bridget "Colleen" Rokos of Denver, Colorado and Coral Nabb of La Grande.

Brett was preceded in death by his parents, Bob Rokos and Phyllis Manes.

Brett Rokos passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025 in La Grande at the age of 71.
