Deloris Belle was born on April 27, 1936 in Myrtle Point Oregon to Thomas and Bernice Verla (Barklow) McBath. In 1977 she was married to Alan Eugene "Al" Thomas and they made there home in Sequim, Washington for three years before living in Wallowa and Union Counties for the remainder of their lives. After 34 years of marriage Al preceded her Deloris in death in 2011.
Relatives who remain are her children Renee Sullateskee of Bellingham, Washington, Reba Gibson of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Melody Wilcox of Elgin, Illinois, step-children Paula Thomas of Newport, Guy Thomas of Bend, Jess Pryce of La Grande, Nadine Layfield of Newport; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; siblings Beth Peyton of Halfway, Patricia Smith of Wallowa.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son Mark Markham and her brother Thomas McBath.
Deloris passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 in La Grande at the age of 89.
