C. Dennis Schroer, 64, of Tucson, Ariz., and formerly of La Grande died July 9 of natural causes.
Mr. Schroer was born Sept. 7, 1940, to Wilfred and Juanita Schroer in Bonne Terre, Mo. He married Sally Stites on Feb. 8, 1964 and was the principal at the Akerman Laboratory School on the campus of Eastern Oregon State College. He enjoyed playing tennis, fiddling and cheering on the Arizona Wildcats.
Survivors include his wife of Tucson; children, Stephanie and Brett; three granddaughters and two brothers, James and William Schroer.
