Dorothy Phillips, 86, of La Grande died March 19. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Baker City with Father Julian Cassar of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral officiating. A reception will follow at Geiser Pollman Park.
Mrs. Phillips was born May 26, 1919, to William and Edith Fordyce Bone in Toppenish, Wash. She married Oliver Wendell Phillips.
Survivors include her children, Laura VanNewkirk, Sally Anders and Robert Freney. Her husband died eariler.
