Dr. Ali Reza Shapur Shahbazi, 63, of La Grande died July 15 in Walla Walla after a long battle with stomach cancer.
A memorial service will be conducted at Eastern Oregon Universityat 3 p.m.
Sunday in McKenzie Theatre. A reception will follow in the lobby. All are welcome.
The seventh child of Ebrahim and Malihe Shahbazi, he was born Sept. 4, 1942, in Shiraz, Iran.
