Eileen May Gross

Eileen May Gross, 91, of La Grande, died April 19 at her home. Loveland Funeral Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Eileen was born May 24, 1917, to Frank and Jessie (Hyde) Kenney in Corvallis.

She married Wendell Gross in June 1939. She moved from Hermiston and has lived in the

La Grande area since 2003.

She enjoyed traveling and spending time at her other home in Yuma, Ariz., and loved playing cards. She also loved reading and watching Lawrence Welk.

She is survived by her children, Ronald and his wife, Betty Gross, of La Grande, Jan Mills of El Centro, Calif., Douglas Gross of Eugene and Frank and his wife, Lee Gross, of Hermiston; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Marge.
