Frances Loftus Kangas

Frances Loftus Kangas, 89, of Henderson, Nev., and formerly of Union, died Oct. 10 at a care center in Henderson. A graveside service is planned for later.

She was born Aug. 26, 1921, to Jim and Lucy Baker Loftus in Wallowa County.

She is survived by her stepson, David, and his wife, Debbie; stepdaughter, Connie, and her husband, Gerald; nine grandchildren; one brother, Paul Loftus of Ogden, Utah; and one sister, Orva Lu Murrill of Union. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eino; stepdaughter, Karen; a brother, Sam Loftus; and a sister, Leona Whitmore.
