George Wesley York, 59, of La Grande, died Oct. 3 at his home.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
George was born June 20, 1950, to Max Marshall and Bernice Frances (Smith) York in Portland. He enjoyed all types of art - photography, woodworking, painting, etc. He moved to the La Grande area from Hermiston in 1977.
He is survived by his sister Margaret and her husband, Kenneth Brown, of Hermiston; and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents.
