Gladys Prince Houx

Gladys "Prince" Houx, 88, formerly of Cove, died September 18, 2004 in El Paso, Texas. She is survived by daughters and their spouses, Diane and Mike Dutton of El Paso, and Dixie and Larry Bass of El Paso; son, David and spouse, Jeanette of El Paso; sister-in-law, Veda Miller of La Grande; and 12 grandchildren.

She was a caring and loving person and a registered nurse who worked at the old Grande Ronde Hospital while living in Cove. Graveside services were held at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Bill Houx.
