Grace Brothers

Grace Brothers, age 88 of La Grande, died, Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at her home. At her request there will be no funeral services held.


Grace Brothers was born on December 11, 1917 in Rainier, Oregon. She is survived by her daughters, Nola Colvin of Cove, and Janet Valade of La Grande; grandchildren, Meghan, Amy, Emily, Morgan and Jacob of Cove; Rikki Valade of San Dimas, CA, Kim Valade of Glendora, CA and Robert Valade of Portland, OR; and great grandchildren Jaime Valade of San Dimas, Jessy Valade of Glendora, and Nicholas and Robert Valade of Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank Brothers of Cove and a brother, George Bauman.

The family would like to thank all the friends who visited, phoned, emailed, read poetry and sent flowers to Grace in her last days, she was very appreciative.
