James "Jim" Robert Anderson

James "Jim" Robert Anderson, 92, died March 30 at Settler's Park in Baker City. A graveside service at Haines Cemetery will be held later. Gray's West & Co. Pioneer Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Jim was born April 28, 1918, at Ogden, Utah. He and his family eventually moved to Santa Barbara, Calif. He drove for Greyhound Bus and was a long haul trucker for 38 years.

He was married to Evelyn Ruth Meyer-Anderson for 64 years until she died in 2004.

Jim was a resident at Settler's Park for the last five years.

Jim is survived by his two daughters, Carolyn Lee Flynn and Lynda Dee Rider; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
