James E. Cook

James E. Cook, 46, died March 28 at his home in Union.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date.

Jim was born Jan. 1, 1962, to Nelson A. Cook Sr. and Lee L. (McWilliams) Cook of Sacramento, Calif.

Jim was a professional landscaper and an accomplished photographer. He was a member of the International Society of Photographers.

Jim is survived by his parents, Lee Adams-Allamand and step-father, Nick Allamand, of Union and Nelson Cook Sr. and step-mother, Sally Cook of Klamath Falls; children, Sam Cook and Crystal Cook of Hubbard and Shawntae Lonergan of St. Helens; siblings, Colleen Huston of Lakeview, Nelson Cook of Union, Jack Huston of Pasco, Wash., Scott Huston of Milwaukie, Sherry Sorenson of Crooked River Ranch, Mark Cook of McMinnville, Tracy Cook and Rhonda Collier; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to his children's education in care of Lee Adams at Community Bank in Union.
