John Eldon Curtiss

John Eldon, (Johnny), Curtiss passed quietly at Grand Ronde Hospital surrounded by loved ones on September 29th.

John was predeceased by his parents, Don Curtiss of Baker City OR. and Judy Blevins of LaGrande OR, brothers Donald, Mark, & Joseph Curtiss and sister Teresa, (Terry).

John is surived by his son, Johnny Lee of LaGrande OR; grandchildren Kilyx & Aria of LaGrande OR; stepfather, Bill Blevins of LaGrande OR; brother, Michael Curtiss of LaGrande OR; brother, Jim (Janice) Curtiss of Vancouver WA; and various nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

John was born in Baker Oregon in August of 1962. He lived in various locations growing up but made his home in LaGrande Or.

John worked in the logging industry running skidder for many years until the industries down turn, he then worked on a rock crusher and various other jobs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom picking, & huckleberry picking.

A Celebration of Life will be planned sometime soon for family and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels-Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center of La Grande.
