Lazetty Hathaway, 81, of La Grande, died March 30 at a local care center.
Lazetty was born Nov. 17, 1928, to Olna and Ruby "Rose" Hathaway in Ritter. He had three siblings: Elizabeth Dunbrough, Lorraine Palmeter and Olna Hathaway.
He was employed as a farmer and a factory worker. He never married.
Lazetty was a La Grande resident from August of 1993 until he died at Angeline Senior Living. Lazetty enjoyed watching movies and laughing and visiting with his friends. He was extra fond of dogs and cats.
