Lola Rhea Bennett was born on May 29, 1955, one of six children born to James Franklyn and Evelyn Annie (Lambert) Babb in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was raised and educated in Blytheville and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

After completing her studies at Blytheville High School, she pursued and earned her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Lola loved her children and grandchildren, often singing to the little ones with songs she wrote just for them. She found joy in hiking, fishing, and anything that brought her into nature, creating countless memories alongside her sister and best friend, Willie.

A caregiver at heart, she spent many years serving others as a CNA, and she held a special devotion for the care she lovingly gave her late husband, Richard. Her affection for animals was unmatched, and her lively, spirited personality shined through in everything she did. She loved dressing up, and her pets may or may not have had their own little outfits.

Lola was an adventurous cook—some dishes were masterpieces, some became family favorites, and a few were never invited back to the table. She cherished life’s simple pleasures and could often be found enjoying a classic 1930s Tarzan film or a Shirley Temple movie.

Lola’s humor, and vibrant spirit touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed.

Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.
