Lon Gray Childers, 53, of Nampa, Idaho, and formerly of Wallowa and La Grande, died Jan. 16 at a Nampa Hospital. Lon was born April 9, 1955, in La Grande.
A service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Wallowa Senior Center with a light buffet reception to follow. Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his brother, Tommy Lee Childers of McMinnville; sister, Belinda Ann (Childers) Wildung of Brownsville; and two nieces. Lon was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy G. and Clarice G. Childers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wallowa High School Alumni Association.
