A. Lorraine Hawthorne, 76, formerly of North Powder died April 22 in San Jose, Calif. A memorial will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the North Powder Cemetery.
Mrs. Hawthorne was born April 9, 1930, to Albert and Iva Bauer Tally in North Powder. She moved to San Jose in 1951, and married Leonard Hawthorne in 1956. She returned to Northeast Oregon to visit relatives during annual vacations.
Survivors include her husband of San Jose; two dauthers, Pamela Hawthorne of Florence and Lynette Hawthorne of San Jose; and a son and dauther-in-law, Bradley and Theresa Hawthorne of Saratoga, Calif.
