Lucille Anna Reed, 66, of Union died Oct. 16 at her home. At her request there will be no funeral.

Mrs. Reed was born March 3, 1938, to Thomas and Thelma Simpson Blom in Estherville, Iowa. On July 30, 1956, she married Ervin "John" Reed in Sioux Falls, S.D. They settled in Union in 1958.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed, gardening, painting dolls, traveling, fishing, boating, camping, helping her husband and being with her family.

Suvivors include her husband of Union; children, Gail Hinshaw of Summerville, Wanda Lee of Umatilla, and Lori Pecinovsky of Mabel, Minn.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
