Marguerite Bessie Elman Hibbs

Marguerite Bessie Elam Hibbs, 97 passed away May 17, 2005 at the Grande Ronde Hospital in La Grande, Oregon. At her request there will be no funeral service. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley.


Marguerite "Madge" Hibbs was born in La Grande on December 9, 1907 to Harry and Bella Elman. She had one sister Gertrude Kinkead deceased. She will be buried beside her husband, Ivel R. Hibbs who passed away Jan. 30, 1971.


She is survived by her cousins. Jerry Cantrell of Haines, Oregon, Norman McKenzie of La Grande, Oregon, Donna Mathson of Pendleton, Oregon and Russell Weeks of Union, Oregon.
