Mathew Paul Jenks

Mathew Paul Jenks, age 23, of Elgin, died January 1 at his home. A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Loveland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jesse Parker of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Elgin Cemetery.

Mr. Jenks was born July 7,1981 to James and Betty Jones Jenks in La Grande. He attended school in Elgin and enjoyed hunting and working on his pick-up.

Survivors include his parents, of Elgin; grandparents, Garner and Betty Stephens of McMinnville and Gayline Jone of Eugene; siblings, Amy, Andrew and Michael Jenks all of Elgin and other relatives. Contributions to funeral expenses may be made to 70694 Valley View Road, Elgin 97827.
