Mildred Louise Lloyd

Mildred Louise Lloyd, age 87, of Summerville, died December 19, 2013 at her home. A funeral will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summerville Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels~Knopp Funeral, Cremation & Life Celebration Center.



Mildred was born on December 1, 1926, the daughter of Bill and Buryl (Posey) Barnet in Eugene, Oregon. As a very young child she came to the Grande Ronde Valley and attended Elgin High School. She married James "Jim" Lloyd on September 16th, 1945. She was a homemaker and partner with her husband on their farm. She was a member of the Summerville Baptist Church. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, quilting, cross stitch and crafting.



Survivors include her daughters, Barb Caswell of Summerville and Louise Grey of Snowflake, Arizona; brother, Don Rutten of Othello, Washington; two grandchildren, Jim Caswell and Wayne Caswell; one great granddaughter, Annie Caswell; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Arnold James Lloyd in April of 2012 and her brother, David Barnet in November of 2012.
