Richard Miller

Richard Miller, 64, of La Grande, died March 1 at a local care center. A celebration of life will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Song Community Church in La Grande. Loveland Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Richard was born Aug. 5, 1944, to Bud and Arleen Miller in Boise, the third of three brothers.

He has lived in the La Grande area since 2000, after he moved from Coos Bay. Richard loved traveling to the coast and the mountains. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.

Richard is survived by his wife, Suzie Morgan Miller of La Grande; children, Jenny Miller of Spokane, Laurie (Jason) Stone, of Cove, Becky (Yasha) Kehn of Kelso, Wash., and Joel (Rachel) Shrum of Nampa, Idaho; two brothers; and six grandchildren.
