Richard Lewis Mitchell

Richard Lewis Mitchell, age 77, of Union, died January 22, 2007 at his home. At the request of his family there will be no public services. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley.

Dick was born on February 17, 1929, the son of George and Catherine (Engell) Mitchell in Bellflower, California. He was born to a large family. He later married and divorced, he had two children. He loved hunting and enjoyed going out shooting. He liked having coffee at the truck stop and the company he shared with the waitresses. He was a good grandfather and father. He passed away the way he wanted to, at a friend's home in Union.

He is survived by son, Bill Mitchell of Nevada; daughter, Tracy Mitchell-Cox of Georgia; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
