Angela Shaw Obituary

Angela Danielle Shaw, age 25, of Summerville, died Sunday, June 16, 2002 at the Grande Ronde Hospital following an automobile accident.

Graveside services will be held at the Cliffside Cemetery in Sandy, Oregon on Friday, June 21, 2002 at 1:30 p.m.. Arrangements are entrusted to Daniels Chapel of the Valley.

Angela was born on January 6, 1977, the daughter of James H. and Jani (McAllister) Gutierrez in Tucson, Arizona. She was educated in Riverside, California. In 1999 she moved to La Grande from Arizona and on August 10, 2000 she married Randy Lee Shaw in La Grande. She was a devoted mother and loved gardening, camping and hunting.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Shaw; sons, Zoey Dearing and Bonoak Shaw, all of Summerville; mother, Jani Albaugh of Gresham; father, James Gutierrez of Canyon Lake, California; sisters, Sherry Butterfield of Gresham, Kelly Gutierrez of Lake Arrowhead, California and Jessica Shultis of Portland; grandfather, Arthur Gutierrez of Canyon Lake, California; nephew, J.C. Butterfield, nieces, Rose Butterfield and Jessie Hammond, other relatives and friends.

Contributions in memory of Angela may be made to the Angela Shaw Memorial Fund to be used for her children's education, and may be sent in care of Daniels Chapel of the Valley, 1502 7th St., La Grande, OR 97850.
